Dr. Barton Santos
Dr. Barton Santos completed his postdoctoral training with world-renowned cosmetic dentists Dr. Larry Rosenthal and Dr. Michael Apa at NYU. Since 2019, he has served as clinical faculty alongside them, teaching dentists worldwide at Rosenthal Institute's Aesthetic Advantage Continuum at NYU.
His focus is minimally invasive dentistry incorporating the latest technology for aesthetic smile design using veneers, onlays, crowns, implants, and bridges. He furthered his full mouth reconstruction/rehabilitation education by completing NYU's FMR program. He has completed the Clinical Mastery Series curriculum, mastering functional dentistry, complex cases, and full mouth rehabilitation.
He has completed his fellowship in implant placement and is accredited with the International Dental Implant Association. He utilizes the most up-to-date techniques incorporating PRF and 3D imaging for extractions, bone grafting, sinus lifts, ridge expansion, and advanced implant placement under the training of Dr. Maurice Salama and the Dental XP organization. He is extremely skilled in guided all-on-x surgeries, delivering teeth in a day for full mouth extraction cases.
Dr. Santos is also certified in Botox treatment, oral sedation, and advanced Invisalign treatment. He has completed TMJ and Sleep Apnea training at the TMJ & Sleep Apnea Centre in California under the mentoring of Dr. Steven Olmos.
Dr. Santos actively volunteers weekly at the Mission Medical Center at Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish in Delray. He is an active volunteer with the dental charity organization 1,000 Smiles. He has participated in a total of seven mission trips as clinical faculty, providing free dental care to the underserved populations throughout various parishes of Jamaica and the Philippines.
He has served as President of Washington D.C.'s Alpha Omega Dental Society and was recently appointed by the President of the Academy of General Dentistry to the Communications Council. He's also been active on the Admissions Committee at Temple University's School of Dentistry for the past four years.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing the piano, cooking, HIIT exercise, and DJing with records!
Dr. Santos is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, Alpha Omega Dental Society, Dental XP, International Academy of Facial Aesthetics, Temple Dental Alumni Association, and Facial Art Dental Forum.
